Principal's Message

St. Xavier’s School, Kaiserganj is a Catholic Minority Institution established and administered by the Patna province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The Society of Jesus founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540 with a vision to “find God in all things” is dedicated to the service of all humanity. The Jesuits (as the members of the Society of Jesus are often called) are engaged in the field of education from its inception and have five hundred years of collective experience of educating the youth. Today, the Jesuits are carrying on this tradition all around the world, caring for 2.5 million students.

The goal of Jesuit education is to form men and women of ‘competence, conscience, compassion and commitment. These four components are the pillars which guide Jesuit education and express the ‘human excellence’ that the Society of Jesus wants for the youth who are in the Jesuit schools. This goal is achieved through collaboration with others who share the same values and the cooperation of the students, staff and parents of the students in our schools. In this way we aim to form integrated persons who are torchbearers of the values enshrined in our constitution and who live “for God and country” which is the motto of our school.

The goal of St. Xavier’s School, Kaiserganj is to provide quality education to the people of Kaiserganj and adjoining areas. The school will strive to grow in every aspect of school education with the collaboration of the staff and well wishers of the area and enable the students to acquire knowledge, skills and confidence. The pursuit for academic excellence accompanied by skill development and focus on discipline will define the school activities. In this way, we shall direct all our endeavours in the school to form men and women of competence, conscience, compassion and commitment “For God and Country.”
